The purpose of the
Comprehensive Plan is to provide guidelines for land use and physical
development of the county. Charlotte County's current Comprehensive Plan
was updated in 2011 and was officially adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November
15,
2011. The Comprehensive Plan can be viewed here or individual chapters & maps can be downloaded below. (Tables listed beneath each Chapter are included in the Chapter downloads.
