Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Hazard Mitigation Plan, which is required under the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, assesses the likelihood of various hazards and identifies ways to lessen risks and damages.  The Commonwealth Regional Council (CRC) recently completed an update of the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan which includes Charlotte County and its incorporated towns.

Individual chapters from the CRC's Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan can be viewed below.  (Due to the size of the documents only those chapters relating to Charlotte County have been posted.)  For additional information, please contact the Charlotte County Administrator's Office at (434) 542-5117.
